e-Helvetica gives you access to the digital collections of the Swiss National Library (NL). In addition to websites of historical importance, you will find books, periodicals, theses and official publications that have been published in electronic form. You will also find printed publications that have been scanned. Please note that access to certain publications is restricted for copyright reasons and that the use of documents must respect our Regulations of use.

e-Helvetica is available as a BETA Version. All functionalities are present in this version, but some errors may still occur. We are very interested in receiving your feedback to improve our application. Please use our contact form.

Direct Access

Direct access allows you to access a publication quickly using its call number or URN. The URN is an alphanumeric code, e.g.: urn:nbn:ch:bel-1296 or urn:nbn:ch:bel-1-jusletter200005087. The call Number is also an alphanumeric code, e.g.: bel-bau-diss69698, bel-157762 or nbdig-36.
