Full-text search

The search terms entered in the Keywords field are combined with the operator AND by default.

The search terms entered in the Phrase field are treated as a phrase. To search for more than one phrase, place quote marks around each phrase. The phrases are combined with the operator AND by default.
The number entered in the 0 field indicates how many words may separate the terms in the phrase.

The Keywords and Phrase fields are combined with the operator AND.
The following search operators may also be used with these two fields: +, -, " ".

Combined with author or title

The search terms entered in the Title/periodical title field or the Author/publisher field are combined with the operator AND by default.

The following search operators may also be used in these two fields: +, -, " ".

The Title/periodical title and Author/publisher fields may be combined with the operators AND and OR. It is also possible to exclude a search term by checking the NOT box.

Combining a full-text search with these fields allows you to restrict your search.

Search filters: language, year

You can restrict your search using the following filters:

- Language of publication
- Years of publication:  the year can only be entered numerically.

Search with Dewey Code

The subject groups under the Dewey Code allow you to restrict your search by subject.

Click on one or more subject groups in the list on the left, then click on the arrow to add them to the search list on the right.
